I can see a second question nobody asked- how far do you plan to tow and where? for local events and relatively flat ground your requirements might not be as high as if you were towing long distances and mountainous terrain. I know if I had access to that beautiful truck I would be towing my 55 FC proudly.

I'm in Northern California and so I don't have to go very far to find a fun place to camp. But... California, particularly the north, is hardly flat. I'm fine with my time in the slow, SLOW lane, so I don't really need a monster truck that gets gallons/mile.

As an owner and daily driver of a 1964 International Scout, I have one suggestion. Old vechicles are AWESOME, but do be prepared to tinker, non- electronic ignition and all the other mechanical components needs messed with from time to time.(in short, I can get more detailed if needed) Also, I would expect horrible gas milage. Older vechicals just were not designed for effeciency, and are carborated and are heavy. My 4 cyclinder 152 cu inch engine only gets 15 miles to the gallon.
