TV for 19 foot International—Highlander

I've read various opinions on towing with a Toyota Highlander. We have a 2014 International Signature 19' and need a tow vehicle (SUV, no truck) that we'll be leasing.
Looking at a 2018 Highlander XLE V6 with 5,000 lbs. towing capacity. The AS weighs about 4,000 lbs. loaded, so there's a 25% margin.
Also considering a Honda Pilot (5,000 lbs.) and Nissan Pathfinder (6,000 lbs.). We like the Jeep Grand Cherokee but cap. is only 3,500 lbs. unless you move up to the Overland at 6,200 lbs. (but pricey).
Anyone have any experience with these combinations?
And since we'll be leasing the TV, are there any issues with adding a WD hitch?
