Question TV Dodge Ram w/ 10,000 lb weight limit

My hubby and I are looking for an airstream trailer, but his truck has a max tow weight of 10,000 lbs. Does anyone know what would be a semi-light weight AS that would fall in that weight category? Any info would be helpful. We are just starting looking. Thanks!!

The only Airstreams that would weigh over 10,000 pounds loaded would be the 34' ones and the 30' slide-out models, both now out of production.

To learn to see below the surface, you must adjust your altitude

While it's hard to find an Airstream travel trailer over 10,000lbs, the payload capacity is what you need to look at. If that is a 1500 you need to watch the tongue weight, cargo and passenger weight.

Besides payload capacity. The truck should be equipped with a tow package. The receiver hitch must be rated to tow the trailer you choose. Class III at least; Class IV is more desirable. No bumper hitch has the capacity needed. You also need tow mirrors and a brake controller.
An equalizer hitch is recommended as well.
All of this in addition to the payload capacity of the truck.

Note Airstreams tow much better/easier than box shaped trailers.
Airstreams..... The best towing trailers on the planet!
