As a matter fact, we do. GM now has a system of email notices at each stage of production.
Fred was built on July 18th at the Flint, Michigan Plant. He was bayed awaiting transport on July 19th. He departed Flint by rail on July 20th. He is on his way to Jacksonville, Florida. From there he will be trucked to Jasper, Florida, (80 miles) where the dealer is located.
Fred has an ETA at the dealer of August 3rd.

I'm curious about your 33 license plate. Does it have anything to do with someone illustrious?

bed liner
You may have already got your bed liner. but if not, I recommend Rhino. I have the 96 model of this truck. She isn't used much, so still like new. At only 13mpgs, I only use it when we have need. Anyways, it's prime use is when we take our horses to stock shows (for parades and racing, not show), and use our cabover. I have literally drug my cabover out of the back (not watching that the jacks had leaked down), tower the siding off. But not a gouge in the bed lining in 15 years.

Not really. My father was able to get Florida tag numbers 32 and 33 many years ago, and they were passed down to me.

Hi from Ga. . .man that's a nice looking truck Brian, And those lights would look pretty good on my F250 John. . . I wonder why Titan doesn't do the 50g tank for my gasser ? Oh well, I made the mistake of driving a new 6.7 diesel F250 the other day. . .BIG MISTAKE... . . .regards, Craig

It's never a good idea to test drive a new truck unless you are ready to buy.

We have already started breaking Fred in. We drove back to Jacksonville from the dealer (90 miles) keeping him at 55 mph and below. We will drive him around Jacksonville for the next couple of days, and on Tuesday, drive him home to the Panhandle. By the time we get home, Fred will be right at 500 miles. He will then be ready to try his hand at towing Lucy.

Love Fred! Our LTZ look like that but is light blue. Great fun. Nice seats. Good stereo.

Our new guy really stood out at the dealership. They had about 40 Silverados there. Our Fred was the only Victory Red. All the others were white, black, and shades of silver.
Being a crew cab, long bed, Fred is rather large. Being bright red, he looks even larger. Driving him in tight spots has been interesting, especially since we have been driving Quadrasteer Suburbans that have the turning radius of a Honda Civic. Fred, on the other hand, is quite a behemoth in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I've already found that Fred needs a place in the far reaches of the parking lot. This is a good thing, though, as I can stand the exercise anyway.
As we plan to put a pop-up truck camper, named Ethel, on Fred's back, we needed a long bed.
We just took Fred and got him a Line-X spray-in bed liner. We think that he looks quite fashionable.

Basket case
My big black DMAX is waiting for a hospital appointment to cure $8m worth of hail damage. On the bright side the two Airstreams were inside during the worst storm I've seen here in Wyoming.
