It seems like depending on the model in the new specs that a 23' **** vs a 22' ** might be 1000 lbs differant. Is there a part of this forum that discusses this more?

Hi, Kevin. My trailer is three years old and has about 15,000 miles on it so far; We have been to and through: Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington therefore I'm sure we drove though some mountains. We bought it in Oregon that is almost all moutains.
Size for size; My 25'er has a GVWR of 6,300 lbs. but some other 25'ers have a GVWR of 7,300 lbs. You mentioned 4,500 lbs. or less; that would be empty or dry weight. Mine is about 4,800 lbs. empty. Vintage Airstreams are narrower and lighter than the same length newer Airstreams.
