Towing Mirrors

I have a 2016 F150 Lariat and bought the Grand Aero towing mirrors. They really didn't attach well because of the shape of the Ford mirrors and I've lost both of them blowing off the truck at 60 mph on separate trips. They really don't add much to the vision and I've been driving with just the side mirrors and can see the lanes on both sides of the trailer although I can't see the back of the trailer.

Does anyone have a suggestion for better towing mirrors for this model vehicle?

Thanks.

Check out the Ford OEM adjustable towing mirrors. Direct replacement for what you have. Available from Ford and many places on line.

Do you have the telescoping mirrors now or just the smaller/regular stock mirrors? I had the smaller stock ones initially and bought the Ford telescoping mirrors from an online dealer selling them at a discount. At the time there was plenty of demand on eBay for my stock mirrors and I sold them for about what I paid for the new ones. Pretty easy to remove/install.

I bought a pair of $90 mirrors from a truck accessory store that blew off. They did give me a refund. I then bought a pair of mirrors from WalMart for $25 each attached with rubber straps, No problems except a little vibration.

My first clip-on mirrors were terrible and I tossed them before they flew off.

I purchased these a few months ago and am pleased with them: http://www.amazon.com/Prime-Products.../dp/B002P4E4Z6

At least until CIPA makes the new mirrors to fit 2015 and newer F-150s

Looks like the ones I got from Walmart. The inner mirror is flat the outer mirror is wide angle. The wide angle mirror vibrates a bit. There is no left or right mirror, fits either side. The price is per mirror.

Anyone replaced the auto/heated regular mirrors with full size towing mirrors on a 2016 F150.
