Towing mirror turn signal not lighting

I need some suggestions.

I have a 2007 Chevy Classic truck with the large towing mirrors that have a turn signal arrow that lights up in the mirror when the turn signal is on.

My problem is that the lighted arrow indicator within the mirror won't light up on the drivers side, left turn signal only. My turn signals work all around and the indicators on the dash function properly except for the drivers side light in the mirror.

I'll be checking the fuses tonight, but it seems that if it was a fuse that the turn signal would not work on the dash or on the outside front and back turn signal lights on the vehicle on that side, and everything is working as usual except the the turn signal LED lights within the driver side mirror.

Have any of you had this problem?

Any suggestions as what else could be causing my mirror light not to work?

Any luck? This is usually best asked on a truck enthusiast forum.

Stuff like this never seems to be cheap if it isn't a fuse.

Wiring from door to body is a problem on my generation of Dodge truck. Window controls. Etc.

Some guys open the wiring bundle to re solder broken pieces. I figure that it's a matter of time, and that replacing that particular wiring harness is the right way to go.

The mirror assembly is easy to change. Just remove the triangle trim piece on the inside of the door, then three (10mm?) nuts and the mirror comes off. New ones are not very expensive.

The arrow is a row of LEDs and, unless there is a connector loose inside the mirror you're probably better off changing the mirror. Replacements are cheap. The ones on my 05 quit working early on but since the rest of the lights worked I just left them until someone took out my mirror.

The turn signal LED'S work now.
I read all I could and watched several U tubes that show the removal of the mirror. As I was getting ready to take the door apart and check the wiring and harnesses, I decided to try the turn signal one last time. Good thing, it now works. It's been working for about 5 months with out a hiccup. So far, so good.
These Chevy's heal themselves! Ha,ha

Cool. Let me know when your power windows quit working. I fixed mine in an hour with replacement motor assemblies for $30.

That truck had 330,000 miles on it last time I saw it.
