Ford V10 with 4:30 final is very nice!
The best of all worlds. I get 10-12 towing and 16-18 not towing. I am a 55-60 mph kinda fellow....
Your 250 will do nicely. This is not a race!

Consider the Andersen WD. You are towing with essentially the same chassis and trailer, unless it has a side out, that I have. Converted from years of Reese to the Andersen 4 years ago and will not go back.

Howie, Please don't forget to tell about how you must replace the coupler, and how you will not be able to adequately distribute the tongue weight with the Andersen.

With an Airstream of about 25' (late model wide body), and larger, the Andersen ends up being an adequate anti sway devise, and that's it.

Get a real weight distribution hitch, set it up properly, and forget about it.
