My wife's cousin just bought a 64 Soveriegn and wanted to know what the weight is on that coach. He is an absolute greenhorn to the Airstream world and needs to know what he will need by way of tow vehicle. He said he was looking at a Toyota 4 Runner and I told him I did not think it would be up to the task. Does anyone here know the weight of that coach or where I can find that info?

You are correct in thinking the 4Runner is not the best choice for a TV for this trailer. OEM Dry Weight was 4500 lbs with a Hitch Weight of 400 lbs.
While most will tell you to use a 3/4 Ton for towing just about anything, on a trailer of this length I would have to agree. Anything less is simply not adequate for this size of a trailer.
Why not show your wifes cousin the 1961 - 1971 Dodge Trucks. They made an four door version and this will be an crowd pleaser if they pull the vintage trailer with the vintage truck.
Or how about using an vintage car.
Me thinks the vintage vehicles with leaf springs in the back are better for towing than ones with coils in the back.
An AS was not an low end costing Travel Trailer in 1964, the era owners did not drive entry level vehicles with an high dollar trailer.
The length of the trailer in this case would be the deciding factor. A half ton truck, long wheelbase, low rear axle ratio, would work just as well. For example, one of the new F150's has a tow capacity of 10,000 pounds, and the Titan also has more than enogh tow capacity.
