Tow Mirrors - Needed on a Tundra?

I'm pretty good at backing into the ball. But the real value is when I'm exiting a gas station and have to make a tight turn. I'll stop, put it in R and see how much tighter I can turn. Then proceed (It seems I always can turn tighter than I think.)

BTW, I'm told the TUNDRA back up camera can be activated in forward by being above 25 mph and shifting into R.
Supposedly, the transmission will not actually go into reverse above 25. Don't think I'll be the one testing that though!

Chances are slim that you would ever get stopped for not having proper mirrors while towing. But most LEO's have a simple test whether you have the proper mirrors. Stand behind the trailer and look down the side. If you can see the mirror then you are good. Can't see the mirror, well perhaps only a warning...

My husband hated his and actually stopped to take them off. They shook, were not easy to adjust, etc. We installed a Furrion Camera (very easy) and never looked back! (Pun intended! Enjoy your new Airstream!!
