Thanks to everyone for the input. I decided to go with the Aero 2. Ordered through Amazon this AM. $92.10. Free shipping, no tax.

Hi, the only choice that I would have for a new F-150 would be the factory tow mirrors. I have the CIPA on my Lincoln because I didn't have that choice.
Agreed Robertsunrus, that would be the best choice. I bought a used truck so I needed something different. It sounds as if Will has the truck already. Will, the Milenco and Aero 2 are the same. They do have different model mirrors but the larger Aero 2 models are what I pictured. They work on an F150 with no problem. I even sold a pair this spring to a camper in Nokomis at a campground who had a new F150 truck similar to mine (2009) who saw them and inquired about them. He told me the next day he had ordered a pair.

Good choice. I really like them on my Nissan. Since I did not need them to be really wide, I cut the rod to a shorter than standard length, so that I could tuck it in closer and fold the mirror back without any interference between the rod and door of the truck. It's nice to be able to fold the mirror in while parked in camp so that they don't get bumped into when someone walks by.

Also, placed vertically like this, it is easy to keep an eye on the trailer tires in the mirror. Handy for parking lot and other tight places and also on the highway.
