Personally I would load the whole outfit bike and trailer and take a trip the the CAT scale or the local scrap yard, gravel pit, concrete or asphalt plant or Grain elevator. All have certified Scales. Weight Steering and Drive and trailer axles and then a total gross for the unit.
"THE TAIL IS IN THE SCALE" my friend .No guessing. If you are getting close to maximum gross U need to know.

Smile Sturgis 2009!

Made the trip with the Airstream and bike. Wife and I had a great time. It was fantastic having the Airstream and not tent camping---especially with the rainny nights we had.
Pulled the camper from Ripley, TN to Batesville, AR (my home) and then on to Sturgis, SD and back. Total mileage was 2,765.4 miles. Used 269.65 gallons of gas. Total fuel cost was $675.02 and averaged $2.50 a gallon. The cheapest gas was $2.20 and the most expensive was $2.90....all 87 octane. Total weight of the rig was 13,640 lbs. It was a smooth trip with no equipment problems at all.
We rode over 600 miles while we were there and stayed an extra day. Got everything in we had originally planned.....I missed Steven Tyler falling off the stage at the Buffalo Chip but the good time more than made up for it.
We camped at the Broken Spoke Campground and was one of only two Airstreams in a huge sea of SOB's.
