Tonneau Covers - Advice Please

Used Tonneau Covers?

I am having a "cheap attack" this afternoon. I want a tonneau cover on my new truck, but I don't want to pay a fortune for it, and I don't want a cheap one either. I like the ones that fold back in 4 sections and are aluminum clad.

I looked on craigslist and there are MANY for sale, but none that specifically fit a Chevy/GMC 2013 6' 8" bed.

What are the odds that a Ford or Ram, or a different year Chevy/GMC cover would fit? Anyone ever work installing these and really know?

There is the width of the bed to consider. Just be patient in your search. You know what will happen, you wait and wait and finally give up and buy a new one and then one pops up on the used ads.

I wanted a used hard cover and settled for a used soft roll as its all I could find. So far I am pleased with it.

They certainly are hard to find. I even found used trucks on dealer lots with covers I wanted. I offered to buy the cover alone but no dealer wanted to even discuss it. I figured they could make extra by selling it alone but I guess they don't see it that way.
