I forgot to mention the Plymouth my father bought new in 1941 and didn't like, or the girlfriend in the early '80's who had a late '60's Dodge pickup that was still going. It was very basic and nearly bullet proof. Seems like the trucks are a lot better than the cars.

All vehicles are better than they were 20 years ago. The Big 3 are catching up. I do wonder whether Fiat will support the Dodge truck division or even understands it.

It is clear that just about everyone has the best truck no matter what it is. That's also true of hitches and tires among other things.

I've had a 1998 dodge van 3/4 ton with 318 engine .
I pull a 34' airstream classic limited.
It was a great truck even though under powered.
It has 204 km on it. It was a union gas truck before.
I've just replaced it with a 2008 dodge 1500 Mega cab, 5.7 Hemi
It's all the truck I need. It's like anyting else to make them last, you don't abuse your vehicle!!!

Lots of Choices

My 5.7l crew max limited 2007, Tundra does a great job towing our 2008 28' International.

Having said that, I certainly wish you well with your Dodge.

Heck, it does look a lot like the Tundra.

Fiat will probably have no problem understanding and might actually improve the Dodge trucks as I believe they own the Iveco brand commercial trucks whom have been building trucks for many many years.
