I have a 99 GMC Suburban which is a daily driver and sometimes a tow vehicle. I occasionally have a problem with the theft deterent/disable features. Security dash light flashes and vehicle will not start. Seems to go away after about 10 minutes wait. Standard trailer hook up.
Anyone know of a forum that deals with maintenance issues on this type of vehicle.

Welcome to the forums. It sounds like either the chip in the key, or the sensor in the ignition lock is about to bite the dust. If it happens, it can disable the truck by not allowing it to crank over, or not turning the fuel delivery system on. There are forums for trucks in general, as well as model-specific forums, on the internet.
