Shut up and tow like a man

I'm tired of all this "you need a F250 to tow" anything I read all the time on these forums. Shut up and tow the Airstream- or three like they used to.

Not up any hills I suspect...

Oh, now I get it, they had those two girls on the front to augment the weight distributing hitch. That probably worked pretty well.

Of course, those are '50s TTs, right? So they weigh like 50 lbs each?

Yup, I've also seen the old factory promo photo of the guy towing with a bicycle. But my legs get pretty tired in the mountains or on long trips, so I gave it up.

Forget towing any stinking trailers. Just send a couple of those attractive factory issued ornaments if you please.

Come on Vernon, surly you could back that up into a site. I have seen your creativity for solving problems.

Ah the good old days, If we went back to the good old days the population would decrease 50% the first 24 hours. Drum Brakes all the way around, No Power Steering And No Power Assist Brakes.
Survisors would drive with a lot more caution.

Very funny!

OK, so even counting for the few beverages I just had, this thread's subject and the following posts really got me laughing.

Good job guys! And that is one great photo!

Gary

ps...shouldn't we all have F-350's ???

When i go down hill I turn my engine off, and put it in neutral just so I can experience what it was like to tow with no power steering or brakes
