I am so glad I do not have to remove something like them from my truck after each trip. I will stay with my extra long Duraflap drill-less mud flaps. They keep both my trailer and my truck looking good.

The wheel well flaps are good at protecting truck body. But not the trailer.

This doesn't make sense. There is plenty of debris on the paved highway that can get tossed around by the tow vehicle tires. The flaps can slow down the velocity of the debris.
On a trip earlier in October I hit a piece of steel debris. The debris pinged off the truck frame and luckily it flew off to the side and just scarred the undercoating.
