RAM 1500 Tow Mirrors

When I ordered my 2013 RAM 1500 I missed specifying the tow mirrors. I am thinking of retrofitting the RAM with the factory tow mirrors. Which leads to a few questions. The clip on type have a lot of vibration.

For those who have them are you satisfied? If you retrofitted your RAM where did you get the replacement mirrors?

Thank you!

I have the factory tow mirrors. In the STANDARD position, I cannot get my truck in the garage; too wide for the opening. My door is the standard 9X7. I have to fold one of the mirrors in.
As for visability, (SP) they are great.
One other thing, one has to manually convert them to the tow position.

I leave mine in tow position always. They're great for towing and better than the clip ons. We have a friend who was using the clip on's and finally upgraded. He said it made a worlds difference.

Over on RamForum there is a vendor selling OE ones that a lot of guys buy, including a DIY install article.

I forgot to order tow mirrors on my 2015 RAM 1500. Also had a difficult time finding snap on mirrors that fit until I learned of Milenco products. Super high quality and I am actually glad I have these over the factory 1500 tow mirrors. Here is a link to JR Products who import them from Europe. Other big RV places carry them too. A little pricey but worth every penny.

Mirrors on Ram 1500

I Have put on the slide on extension mirror on my Ram 1500 conversion van and they work just fine. I bought them at an Airstream dealer. Ed

Glad to here your comment. I also have Milenco, like the fit & visibility, have have yet to tow with them but confident they're the best out there. I did the research & all positive.

I bought my clip ons from Cabelas.com. They work so good, I leave them on all the time. No rattles, look almost stock and easy to put on. I think they were only about $60.

Also be aware, at least up to two months ago, if you have a RAM 1500 factory regular upgraded mirrors that have integrated turn signals and side light (e.g. Laramie Package) none of the current 'slip ons ' work. This is due to a bulge in the bottom of the mirror. Thus, Milenco was the only product that worked. Even so if others worked I would have still gotten the Milencos hands down.
