The truck is awesome and the airstream is perfect for us. I've seen Shane's sweet setup in another thread. It'd be cool to see a Super Duty duuuuually in front of an airstream while we wait for Scheck's green king to show up.

The good thing about ordering a truck - I have time to keep researching and reading everyone's cool additions to their trucks and their solutions and suggestions!
You may want to check out the Trak Rack tonneau cover. I went with that because I wanted The moveable/removeable rack system from Trak Rack. I also put in the additional 50 gallon fuel tank in the bed, and went with the tank (can't remember brand but it's from California) that would fit under the tonneau cover. Works like a champ, but don't have pictures at hand...

I went with an Undercover Tonneau cover. It is a ridged cover, but light enough that I can take it off and put it back on by myself (as long as it isn't windy). My prevous F150 had a Roll-n-Lock brand cover, but to replace it cost twice the price of the Undercover. Also, the Roll-n-Lock wasn't watertight and took up space for the roll case at the front of the bed.

OK - found some pictures, which is good because we just got about 6 inches of snow in Atlanta - won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

See if these work - still trying to figure out how to resize pictures on a Mac...

You can see that the 50 gal tank sits low enough to fit easily under the tonneau cover.

Lot's of great ideals here - decided for now to go with an A.R.E Tonneau cover "LSX" model, it has "sissor hinges" so that the front portion is raised before the back end opens up, color matched to vehicle via VIN, connects to remote vehicle locks so it locks\unlocks with the remote as well it has its own built in light for bed illumination.

I know how functional "topper's" can be as well as the "retractable tonneau's" - but to be honest, I love the look of the fiberglass tonneau's and for me I'm thinking the A.R.E. is the best fit for me!

Truck Vanity at its best....

If you haven't already plans:

Recommend a plastic bedliner with either topper or cover. Easy to keep the bed organized by using covered tubs and sliding them. Then lock in place with a locking cargo bar (Load Lock). (I bought this style/brand at a truck stop for 2/3 this price). The cheap round bar ones aren't worth having.

There are more extensive/expensive ways to go, but this "method" is cheap and easily removed for something else. I slide totes around like a jigsaw puzzle to accommodate whatever I'm doing that day. (Most of the time my H/A hitch resides in a pair of these; etc).

Stick with quality for all components.
