OOOFFF! Not a good review

If you're GM, you have got to be worried.Other than the trick tailgate, I was thinking the very same for the GM trucks; what did they do that was new?

The trailer pro option is one of the key new items....check it out.....it is jedi control on hitching up your trailer with one person and being able to do a full safety check via your bluetooth enable device.

This review is helping me stay in love with my 2004 Duramax. Thank goodness, 'cause I really don't want to spend the money.

If you are pulling less than 7500 do think about the Dodge Durango Citadel Hemi . Pulls beautifully and so so comfortable. We can hardly tell that were pulling our 25 ft .2018 International serenity. 14 miles to the gallon. We do love trucks. But on long trips you can’t beat the comfort. Heated rear seats also. We have two Vizslas that travel with us and still plenty a room to carry any extras.

The writer is clearly biased because he didn't conclude that anyone thinking of buying the GM or RAM should really just pick-up an F250 diesel and all will be right in the world. Biased, biased, biased writing.

Happy New Year!

The most bewildering negative I found on the new GMC is the axle capacities, both front and rear, have DECREASED. My 2017 Sierra axles are rated at 3950. The new truck's rating is 3800 (each). Does this mean the "payload" and towing capacity has decreased 300 pounds?
Even the intro page on their website indicates the 2018 Sierra can tow 7500, and the 2019 can tow 7200. I'm scratching my head....

So from the GM fanboy club, we should label it as "fake news" then?

It's your money; and if you give it to GM to reward them for mediocredy, they will never change and give you what your money deserves.

My big pet peeve is the engines. They still showcase their 5.3 and 6 liter antiquated v8. I’ll take the ecoboost all day long.

I am still in love with my fully bulletproofed 2005 F250 6.0 4x4 Lariat with 60K on it. I'm getting 25pmg on the freeway and 16.5mpg pulling our 28' International. I upgraded the electronics as well. There are other good options other than spending $70-$80K for a new shiny truck. IMHO.

Same old truck Generation 3

Unless you are buying a 1500 you are just buying the same old truck. The 1500 is now generation 4 while the 2500 and 3500 are still generation 3. I have not been able to find any information on the 2500 and 3500 updates.

My 2016 Eco Boost is a piece of junk (gone through two turbos and today the driver side turbo started making noises again), the antique 6.0L is bullet proof. It will deliver better towing mpg over the EB, and repair parts are available anywhere.

Just for clarity, it has been a 6.2l for a few years now.

I still love my Silverado, but I notice, coast to coast, the campgrounds are filled with Ford trucks.

The only thing I would wish for in my 04 Silverado 3/4 ton 6.0 is more than 4 speed trans.

there are a number of sites with information about the 2020 GMC Sierra HD and the Chevy Silverado HD. Here are a couple:

2020 GMC Sierra HD: auto blog

2020 Chevy Silverado HD: car and driver

apparently the new chevy and GMC HD trucks will be unveiled at the chicago auto show in February.
