Now HERE is a nice tow vehicle! Diesel, baby!!!!!

The first time I saw this was last week sometime. It was sitting in front of a local Thai restaurant with a banner on it for the new eatery. I didn't have time to stop and look at it or figure out who owned it, so I hoped that I'd see it again soon. Well, yesterday was the day. I was right behind it as it was heading to the restaurant. I followed it in to the parking lot and introduced myself to the owner. After we talked for a bit, I asked him if he minded if I took some closer pictures of the rig. It has a Caterpillar diesel engine, room for 6 or 8 folks inside, and is outfitted inside with at least 4 captain's chairs and a bench seat in the back. In the very back is a load amplifiers and speakers for the sound system. Owner said he recently acquired it from his brother, who used it to tow a big boat.

I think it's stinkin' COOL!!!!!

Diesel, baby!!!

I think it needs some big, shiny air horns on the roof!

I think that was a full-size Chevy van (Safari?) on the back.

On line listing says it is a 2003 Topkick melded with a 2012 Express full size van. The last generation Topkick used the same cab as the G series van, so the width was likely right. May be a Kodiak with the bow tie.

Sorry, as a Ford owner it is missing a VERY important item. A 1968 refurbished 31' Land Yachat behind it. THEN it would be awsome.
