Crazylev!

With an avatar like yours, you must truly be krazy! But are you crazy enuf to tow with a Tow Rig?

Aye, the V10 is out and it is a barnburner. Huge torque. $68,000 tag tho...

I would not hesitate for an instant towing your 19' CCD with a Tow Rig! A perfect match IMHO.

Our 22' came out of production last Thursday! Yay! Congrats on yours!!!! Aren't you just overly excited?

If you make it west, look me up - New Mexico. We'll be hitting the road on May 15, God willing!

Just off the VW forums - Touareg towing a 26'

More Touareg towing testimonials are coming in... I'll post mine as soon as I can...

This from the VW Touareg forum this morning:

Well the gamble payed off .......While having some doubt as to the towing capacity I still went ahead and purchased a new 26.2 ft Terry 250RKS Travel Trailer. The RV dealership did not believe the Touareg would pull it. Cruising from San Diego up over the Laguna Mountains at about 5000ft at I think 6% grade. How did it do? Let's just say I had to watch my speed as I was passing tough guys in their Ford F350 Super Duty pick-ups pulling trailers of the same size. I counted at least three times where jaws literally dropped.
The PICS, below, are from the VW Touareg forum (this is not my rig):

Nice pictures. Nice rig. And what fun when you get to tour around after unhooking. Can't wait to see your setup.

X-Ray,
I'd be quite surprised if you were not 100% pleased with the towing performance of the Touareg. I test-towed with a less capable Mercedes ML320, and was speechless about the handling, although not overly impressed with the acceleration up the grades in SoCAl. At the time my regular tow vehicle was a 1-ton van. I wanted to replace it with an ML500, but my budget was only good for a used Suburban.....
