Although that may be true, the International engines are rated for 500,000 miles before overhaul.

Then again for the price difference, you could overhaul your Duramax several times!

run away!

i just got a new international 4700 at work, top of the line truck.

the cab is great, controls well thought out. the 466E is a great motor when new but, they wear fast and loose power after about 40k. then they smoke.

all in all, a nice medium duty truck. it does ride like a lumber wagon!! then again, mine scales out around 26,000 lbs.

gotta love that chrome grill
