hi all
I would like to change my car to draw the airstream (safari 23 ft).what do you think about a silverado 4x4 1500 pickup z71 step-side 1996 of 5.7 L.
Transmition will be it rather solid for tow a 23 ft.

To tow a 23 AS is MORE then enough. Just make sure that you get the tow package with it. You could even pull a 30' with the 1500. Just make sure you check the towing capacity of the truck (or ask). you can also find it online at the chevy website. (it shows 8700 lbs).

The 23 weight if I'm correct is about 5300 lbs dry. So, you shouldn't have any probelms.
Again, make sure you get the tow package.
