In essence, the 2012 is identical to the late model 2011's - and is the best in class truck out there...

The new 6.2 V-8 gasser with factory propane sounds interesting. At $1.64/gallon could be something to think about.

Yep, I think the same. Although as soon as they get us to adopt propane, it will go higher than diesel. Mad

Do you not loose horsepower & torque when running on propane?

Yes, at least 10%.
In the good old days if you converted to propane the government allowed you to remove the pollution controls so that made up for the 10% and then some.
That was in Canada.

To me the biggest advantage of the propane/gas engine is you can run off of gasoline and when close to out switch it to the propane bottle in the bed of the truck.

At least that is the way I understand it could work. Mainly like a second tank.

Also as I understand it the propane does not wear the engine like gasoline. It is just very clean burning.

I like this part of the article....

"The Ford Super Duty has long been the dominating force in the heavy duty pickup segment and with the subtle yet important improvements to the 2012 models, General Motors and Chrysler continue to have their work cut out if they want to take a real shot at the bestselling truck in the country."
