new bambi tow vehicle

We have a new 16ft Bambi (so excited!) and need to buy a tow vehicle. We want an SUV not too huge. We've been looking at a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee...any other suggestions?

Good day and congrats on the new Bambi.

There is so much info on TV's in the towing/tow vehicle forum and because of the size of your Bambi you have many many options. You could spend many hours reviewing the posts and problably get a pile of info. Also understand the setup/connection/hitching principles as it is key to getting it right.

Actually most of the Toyota's with V-6 engines are tow rated at 5,000 lbs.

Porsche Cayenne

We tow our 19' Bambi with a 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo and it pulls wonderfully. Great power, reasonable mpg and a luxurious ride. Also a capable off-road vehicle for when we're looking for a bit of adventure. Here's a link to an Airstream video showing a Cayenne pulling an AS through a solemn course:

and of course, a picture of us towing
