Question Need some advice on tow vehicle capacity

Hello all fellow AS's, i am new owner of 76 excella 500 31'. I had the trailer delivered to me intially but at the price of delivery i figure i had best find out what equipment i will need to tow this beauty. I will be towing it approx. 500 kms first off and parking it at my woodlot where it will stay. I have an 88 Ford Bronco to use for this. Could you give me your suggestions. thanks

Bronco?

I don't think I would pull that trailer with a bronco. Just me though.
I have a 31 ft trailer w/ dry weight 6,800lbs. It seems risky to me.
The narrow wheel base on your bronco is a big issue for me.
I pulled ours with a 86 Grand Wagoneer for the first few trips and
the trailer pushed me more than I pulled it.
BTW...Do you have working brakes?
Wayne

Towing a 31 foot Airstream with a Bronco, is like making an appointment with a junk yard for the Airstream, and reservations at a hospital for you and your passengers.

That set up is unsafe even at 20 mph.

Welcome
You are a fast learner. Smart move to Budget for a rental. Something at least in the 3/4 ton range. A good Reese Strait-Line hitch setup should do the job.
We would talk to you than read about you.

Is this the full size Bronco or the Bronco II ? The full size can do it with a WD hitch but the set up for one pull would not be economical unless you can borrow one . Best bet is a friend with an RV that has a good tow vehicle . Good luck
