Mirrors

I need to update the mirrors on my 1997 Dodge 3500.
I now have the fold up mirrors that are adjusted by hand.
Two or three years ago there was a thread on here about changing the mirror base on the door, so newer electric adjust, foldup mirrors could be installed.
Does anyone remember anything about this? If so I would certainly appreciate any info. you could give me.
Thanks;
Mike McConnell

There are several sets on E Bay.

Just make sure you have the wiring in the doors for adjustable mirrors. If it is there then the connection on the dash is most likely there also. You will have to buy a switch.

Thanks HowieE.
That is the kind of mirrors I took off to put the fold up mirrors on.
I would like to go to the electric fod up type.
Thanks for replying.
