Look at what the poll numbers are...

The general Public Picks FORD.

What's Your Favorite Heavy-Duty Truck? - PickupTrucks.com Special Reports

Seems a couple guys can get together and do a test..but the PUBLIC is speaking and Ford is winning....Also in sales numbers, not just voting.

Oh wait......

If the numbers are based on total sales numbers alone, the Ford products will appear to "win" most of the time due to fleet and government sales contracts. Where they cater to a minimalist spec requirement.

Jeff

I think it's a random poll.

On the sales numbers,...I believe taxpayers are speaking up, by not buying,...but thats my opinion and what I'm hearing.

I buy American trucks, no brand loyalty, but went truck shopping this summer and the financial debacles of the Big 3 was a major factor for this taxpayer.
New Tow Vehicle Buying Decisions

However, now that I've got the F250 gasser my hat is off to the Ford engineers on the drive train. These new trucks are indeed impressive.

How can you use that as a public poll,I didn`t even know that site existed until you posted. Ok here`s my thought, you bought a new Ford, you`re not sure if you did right,so you keep trying to make yourself feel better by hunting up these obscure comparisons.

Yup , your wrong!!!

Been buying Fords for over 20 years. A lot more than most people. Quantity wise.

I was looking at the poll as a GENERAL consensus not the gospel...geeeez..BTW, it IS a Public poll....LOL

Just proud of my ride.

Your not?
Lose the chip..if I find another poll..I'll be sure to pm you..

I thought I read that Chevy Silverado and GMC Serra combined outsold ford by a huge margin.

I take it in jest and roll with the punches. But hoonestly, I do it because I am proud of Ford and I bleed BLUE.

I have had over 15 NEW Ford trucks in my lifetime and the ONLY reason I switched was to upgrade from xt to xlt to lariat, from gas to diesel from 2x4 to 4x4.New body styles..etc. I have NEVER had a problem or a hiccup with Ford trucks or cars...EVER!!

My wife has owned probably 10-12 different fords,..but she leases and NOT ONE has let us down....

In the back of my mind, I kinda wish I would have gotten a bad one,,just to have a reason to shop around,..but that doesn't seem to be in my cards. Ford makes a great product, IMO and by the FACTS I just recited.

The no bailout thing, well, thats just icing on the cake.

Shane

better check out the current issue of diesel power magazine.dmax allison combo apparantly is the top winner in there challenge.i drive fords since my brother is a ford tech, but any of the big three setup correctly setup will adequately pull an airstream.maintenance equals longevity on any of them.
