Both mine have been 8' beds, and I still run out of room. Incidentally, if you have not already purchased the truck, shop 3/4 ton vs. 1 ton. On my '15 Ram, the difference was around $400 more for the 1 ton, which gave us 2000lbs more payload. Went with the bed roller and Highway Products Pickup Pack. Love the combo - and people come to see it when I'm in campgrounds (wives drag their husbands away - they can see the $$$ in their eyes!). Get your "last truck" first!
