Kool View Tow Mirrors

I swear I saw a thread on Chevrolet tow mirrors the other day but as usual I can't seem to use the search function

I ran across Kool Vue Driver Side Mirror - Heated with signal indicator for only $203 per mirror for my 2007 Silverado 1500. PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts - Towing Mirror&N=9972+1588+4294963604+11921 (middle of the page). Has anyone had experience with this brand. Seems like they are a lot cheaper than other brands out there.

thanks

They don't look like they extend. Not is not a problem with your 86 but if you intend to buy a wider trailer that will be an issue.

If you buy them don't tighten up too hard on the studs. I have had other brands pull the stud out of the casting. 1/4 in. drive socket should do it.

Telescoping trailer mirrors

As noted on another thread, I had a set of great mirrors installed today. See them at: www.ttt-mirror.com

Not much more costly than mentioned above, and they really reach out there. We head out Thursday for a rally, and I expect to be very satisfied. I have spent money on lesser products, and wish I had known of these at the start.
