Smile Jeep: What can I pull?

Can I safely tow a 19ft AIRSTREAM with a 2006 jeep Laredo v6 3.7 litre full time 4x4 ? We currently have a deposit on a 2008 Safari 17ft. Im thinking when we go to see it and we decide to go bigger do we need to buy a bigger Suv/Truck.

Wheel base is usually the hang up in your situation. I'm sure others will chime in soon.

Connection is so important with a vehicle like yours. Hardware like Pro Pride/Hensley gives you a much better tow, safety margin. Pay the bucks. Do it right.

We learned from our first AS experience....

63 22' Safari towed by a Jeep Grand Wagoneer V8.....

Even the light Safari maxed the GW's ability...

Good luck...

In the short time of 20 sec we saw 3 Jeeps towing trailers in the QEW today. One was towing a pop up and the two others were towing 20' ish box type TT's.

Not a common sight in these parts.
