Parking Airstream.

Hi, steep driveway? No. Tight squeeze? Yes.

I like Vinnies parking caster. And Neil, I guess we all find a way to park these things on our property.

Bob,

How do you get into the trailer while its parked? Do you have to pull it forward each time? Or do you have a secret access door?!

Vinnie

Yes, Bob, we do because it is convenient to have the AS nearby. I symphasize with those who have to travel to a storage facility to load and unload for trips not to mention the maintanence of the trailer. Although if our AS was elsewhere maybe I would be able to focus better on the issues around our home. We have more than 1 1/2 acres. But the only level place is where the house is. We do have a fair size RV pad but it is occupied with the Trade Wind and a couple of 'donor' cars from my classic car days. I should get rid of those.....and fill the space with vintage Airstreams!

Hi, Vinnie. No secret access door, I have to pull it forward everytime I want to do something to it. And it has to be in it's place on Mondays so my neighbor's gardeners don't damage it and on Fridays so I can get my vehicles off of the street, for street sweeper day. My wife won't let me cut a hole in her kitchen for access either.

Aw.. but you can have that morning cup of coffee in the kitchen and dream about big adventures just by looking through the window. Man what we go through to have our rigs at home...

Great pics.

Thanks Vinnie
