And bought a new one!
2007 Double Cab 5.7 engine 4X4 with the TRD package.
The dealer tried to low ball me all around so I called another dealer while I was going back and forth. After a while I thanked the dealer for his time, gave him my offer and my cell phone number and left. About 15 minutes later they called, dropped the price and raised my trade-in offer, an eight + thousand dollar swing, very close to my offer. I added lunch and a free hat to the deal and we had a deal. I also got 0% intrest from Toyota. All in all a very good deal.
Once a Toyota, always a Toyota. I have my 2005 Tundra crew cab Limited for sale with only 20,000 miles on her. I am also buying a new Tundra, but not until the 2009 model. I have had two Tundra's and they both pulled Airtreams, and other trailers as well. Best pulling trucks I have ever owned!! and they both have been only 2 wheel drives.
BTW, check out the aluminum cone under the front of my trailer. It is one of the ones that was mentioned in another thread recently and Fred (47Weewind) posted the info on how to get one.
You will have to give us all of the gory details. Don't forget to break that puppie in before you tow. See you in a couple of weeks, that's if Kevbo doesn't get us thrown in jail in Barstow.

Got a little worried at the title of this thread...thenI read it and relaxed. I've been looking at the new Tundras and I really want one BUT, this 05 step-side is so darn cute I just can't let it go yet. Love your's. We have just purchased a 31ft 1976 Airstream that I'm not certain I want to try to pull with this Tundra. The Tundra does a great job with the 24ft Argosy in the flat lands of Oklahoma, but the new one will probably have to travel behind my husband's big Ford. Oh the shame of it. And my Tundra is silver to match the AS. Congratulations on your very good taste!
