With all due respect to some of the experts here, I would suggest that you do some of your own research, including weighing the tow rig and TV/trailer combo and come to your own conclusions. I bought the GMC after weighing an '03 Navigator and determined that there wasn't a lot of "fudge" the same token, there have been more than a few posters that love their Lincolns as TV's.

I certainly love my Lincoln as a tow vehicle.

Per the original question...

Look here: The F150 with the 5.4 L engine, 3.73 gears, and an automatic tranny will vary from GCWR of 13,500 to 15,000, which allows for a maximum loaded trailer weight ranging from 7,300 to 9,800 (varies based on 4X4 or 4X2, cab style, and wheel size).

A 2004-2006 F150 SuperCrew Lariat 4X4 with 5.4 L engine, 3.73 gears, and an automatic tranny is rated to tow 8,700 lbs. It has a net carrying capacity of 1,630 lbs.
