Here's a real tow vehicle!

Ten miles south of Torrey UT on state highway 12. Trans cooler line kinked and bad electrical connection between CPU and trans module. Both episodes covered with service bulletins. Less than a 1000 miles when this happened.

Hope they pay for the tow too. That just sucks for the holiday weekend. But at least your outside. Me, I just finished gutting ours.

Dennis,

Bummer! At least they could have brought a tow truck that was the same color as the trailer and your truck.

We had a bad pizza in Torrey once. I hope you are somewhere where you are enjoying yourself and the truck didn't have to go to SLC or Grand Junction.

Hope he doesn't turn too sharp and get into the trailer with the corner of the truck bed.

Yikes! I hope that you have some kind of roadside assistance program that covers all that towing.

I feel your pain. This is a terrible thing to happen on a road trip and especially with a new truck. I have a new truck very similar to yours. Can you share the details of the service bulletins.

What a great idea! Buy a tow truck flat deck to tow the AS and use the deck for the "toys" (bikes, motorcycle, small car, kayaks, all of the above). Kidding!

I've seen it done. They had a rollback with a Mini Cooper on it, while towing a trailer. Wish I had gotten a picture, it was quite a scene!
