Just bought a 2019 Armada to tow Airstream (this is not a thread about weights etc). However, installing a brake controller is a challenge and NO ONE at Nissan has a clue.
It appears that Nissan has changed their brake controller block. The new one is slightly smaller with smaller female connector ports. It also has 5 wires running into it: blue, blue/white, black, and two different reds. The old 3040-P is too large and neither Takonsha not Curt has any idea about the new connector. The new controller block also seem to have shifted to the right and is between the accelerator and brake.
I need to install my controller soon, but I have no idea how to proceed. The dealer claims ignorance and has keeps passing the buck. Nissan corporate says "talk to your dealer."
There must be someone out there with a new Armada who can help. Please!
