Great idea,
BUT.......
the TOWING FORUM may be a better place than FLOOR REPAIR. Do we have a TOWING FORUM, you ask??? I just found out that we do.
I was looking for towing tips, and found them about everywhere and anywhere, like in:
<What do I have to get to tow? by virginiak in Our Community
<introduction // need help deciding tow vehicle by jmeredith in Our Community
<New Owner-tow vehicle discussions by JodynJeep in Our Community
<Suburbans-tow ratings by Craig in On The Road
I found plenty more posts in <Our Community> , <On The Road>, <Axle, Brakes, Wheel & Tire Forum> and even several in <Repairing or Replacing the Floor>
This makes it very difficult to locate the type of info we are looking for.
I basicaly have to run the "search" all over the Forum, instead of zeroing down on the right place,.... like the TOWING FORUM , that I have discovered too late - well hidden in the ON THE ROAD FORUM.
"1stimer", I bet you did not check that forum. The first post was "Late Model Vehicle Tow Ratings" by Organic Hosting on 03-13-2002. [
www.trailerlife.com/towratings]
and you can look at an incomplete summary of content: <Frequently Asked Questions about towing> found at
http://www.airforums.com/forum...?threadid=4426
My summary is: the nearly random postings have been slowing me down in my search for my "perfect" Airstream.
I spend too much time trying to find information instead of digesting it.
