Finally got a Suburban 2500

Hey all, I finally got a 2005 Suburban 2500 2WD LT. I have been wanting one for several years and have asked many questions to you all and appreciate the responses from everyone. A local dealer about 25 miles from me took one in on trade and I actually new the person that previously owned it and got a good deal on it. I had thought about the idea of a 4 door 3/4 ton p/u with a diesel or a diesel excursion. After many test drives with pickups I just could not get the ride that i was looking for so I decided against the trucks. And we now have a 1500 suburban that is a twin to this one with the exception of the chasis and we love it so I know we will enjoy this one as well and it sure is comfy. I can not wait till we make our first trip with it towing the trailer. Davis

Very nice. I am looking into getting another suburban when my F-150 lease runs out in July. I had a 1999 1500 burban, but it had some problems so I traded in for a 2007 F-150 lease. I think I am now going to go back to the burban but this time do a 3/4 ton. It is much more family friendly. I will likely go with the older body style from the late 90's.

Nice! I have the same thing and love it. The 4.10 make a significant difference, and not the fuel economy hit some think it can take.

Good Choice! We have two 2500 Suburban TV's, an '04 and an '05. We have pulled Lucy over 40,000 miles with them. They are great tow vehicles. The '04 is Daisy, and she is a 2WD. The '05 is Olivia and she is a 4WD. Both the girls are Quadrasteers.
