F150 Bed cover

Looking for some advice on truck bed covers - there are so many different kinds out there. Does anyone have a truck bed cover that that performs well for under $700? Thanks!

I have had a Bacflip for 8 years and it works great, looks like news.

+1 on the Bakflip G2 series. Have had mine for 5 years and love it. Just a note that it's not completely waterproof. Be aware of that going in. They are very convenient and only weigh about 50-60lbs. Easy installation as well. Took about an hour.

Extang solid fold 2.0

Thanks for the replies! We just got an Extang solid fold 2.0. It appears very similar to the BakFlip that you've mentioned, I hope I will be just as pleased by the performance!

I think if you caught a sale you might get down to 700. I like my Bakflip MX4 because I don't have to open it to use the tailgate, it's designed to allow the tailgate to close without messing up the seals.

I didn't see this in time to guide your selection, but I'll offer that I had an Extang, not the 2.0, and I liked it. Easy to remove and replace, secured by locking the tailgate, very strong. As previously mentioned, however, the folding covers are not waterproof, so plan on some drips, particularly at the folds.

I'm also very happy with the Bakflip MX4, given the tailgate feature. Joe

I've had Access roll ups for 10 years. Been through 120 degree AZ to 30 below in Idaho. I have a below rail toolbox and the Access covers it. Goes through car washes with no leaks. Snow up to 3 feet deep, no problem, just brush it off. Lifetime warranty for normal wear and tear. Highly recommended.
