Electric Adapter for International CCD??

Hey everyone, I am going to pick up my first Airstream today! It is a 25' 2005 International CCD. I need to know what kind of hookup I need to connect the electric tow lights. Any help would be apprectiated from this newbie.

Thanks,

Elliott

Hi Elliott,

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new trailer.

The Airstreams come with a round 7 pin umbilical cord that plugs into the the receptacle of the tow vehicle. If you don't have one, you'll have to get one installed.

Do you have a brake controller in you tow vehicle? If not, you'll need one of those too.

Good luck,

Welcome to the Forums Elliott!

Some tow vehicles without a Class III or above hitch rating will only have a 4-pin wiring hookup. That is not adequate. cosmotini has mentioned the important brake controller add-on. An RV dealer will know what you will need.
