Well,as a truck driver (semi) with apx. 24 years under my belt,this is my opion:Cummings,detriot diesel,cat,or mack.Thats the main engine builders for tractor trailers.Many Cummings in semis have 1,000,000 + miles on them and Cummings has made diesels forever!The diesels in the Chevy and Fords will not compare over time.Also,hard starting,lack of pulling power is almost always is a dirty fuel filter.Cummings has the proven track record...
