Thanks! One thing about the good ol'Germans, they adapt... quickly. This will, hopefully keep the US auto parts assemblers on their haunches and motivate to compete... quality and performance wise...

I'm just going to say this....

"Is diesel dead?" was closed yesterday, as it had completely derailed into political arguing and bickering, violating Forums rules .

The same will happen to this one if the same thing happens here.

I'm looking to see if Ford will really come out with their diesel F-150 in 2018, or is the EPA going to derail it. I might be convinced to change my tow vehicle, but not if I can't get a diesel.

Are you expecting to get an answer to that question, in this second thread on the same topic?

I'm hoping to increase my knowledge of the situation by hearing different opinions.

Knowledge and opinions you did not get in the same, lengthy thread, also started by you, which was closed yesterday?

Just sayin'....

Good point. Let's argue about diesel vs gas instead, and is the EPA going to kill diesel or not. I need to know what they are going to do about the next diesel that I want to buy.

Before this one gets shut down too - which it should - consider doing a Google search for this information outside of this forum. You'll get the answers you're looking for and won't be running afoul of the rules here. You don't have to like the rules, but obeying them makes it a better experience for you and everyone else.

Good luck in your search.

Back to my original post, does anyone have any comments about the article I linked to?

Here are the community rules, which are in a different place than the FAQ. Sorry for the earlier misdirection Mike.

PS in particular in the middle of the bullet points:

Ahhhhhhhhh, there ya go. Thanks Peter! Where do I go or click to read through the "community rules"? Sorry for the ignorance, Ive been a member for quite a while and should have read through those years ago. This is the only forum I've ever joined so severe lack of experience.

Mike

The blue link in Post #14 will get you there. From there you can "bounce up" [my term] to the Forums page:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/

[The blue links at the top left, separated by the ">" symbol, denote the organizational structure of the info here. Click on any one location to go there.]
