If you like, I can email you a Cummins Service Bulletin on fuels and additives for Cummins engines. In the bulletin there is information on additives for 2007 and newer engines with the aftertreatment exhaust system. Some additives are ok to use and others will cause the DPF to plug up more offen and may damage the DOC witch would require replacement. Which will cost you $$$$. If you would like this info from Cummins. PM me with your email address.
Good Luck
Tom

Fuel additives

Tom: I responded to your offer. Very thankful for your input. This is the type of data that I am looking for. I did not purchase a high end TV/AS to worry about 2 % more fuel gain etc. I want waste my time in that discussion. I am looking for long term gain.Mel

Fuel additives

2Air: Thanks. I do not care about fuel gain + or -(%). I did not buy high cost hardware to be concerned in that arena. I am looking for performance, plus long term benefits. Sorry for the confusion. I was not being cute. Yes : I have the mental capability to measure mileage. I think you fill the tank up, run it dry, determined how far you have driven, post the O reading etc. Then call roadside for help. Now that is a joke. I do read all of your input. I can understand the data you provide. Thanks Mel
