Wow....me too.

Glad you appreciate it. Was built by a neighbor of yours, near Indianapolis, and had just won the Trick Truck First place at the Good Guys Show in Indy. Great folks are the owners. They use it to haul their other 56 Fords to shows....towing an Airstream. What a show.

I keep thinking that I need to finish restoring my Jonquil Yellow and Black 1960 Lark Convertible with the Sweepstakes 289 V8 to tow my Minuet. As can be seen in the photo below, my Lark is a few years away from being ready for the road again.

Ahh....that Lark was our first family camper back in the 70s! We towed it with a Ford LTD wagon with a 400ci.

Love the Buick Centurion...all time fave.......I particularly like the front end of the '73 best, but who doesn't like that car any model year.

I liked the front bumper on the 73 Centurion so much I used one on my AMC Custom Pacer project. I removed the rubber bumper and filled the void. It also needed extensive resizing and fitting to conform to the Pacer front end.

You can see the same bumper is used on the two vehicles in the pics below. The original Pacer bumper was BIG and UGLY.

A chopped pacer. Please post more pics, I always had a soft spot for those pacers, though they always looked too tall.

tw... On page #2 in my photo gallery there is a copy of a page from "Our Canada" magazine that has a good story on the Pacer mods and a couple of pics. I took the roof down 8". The 300HP 302ci V8 with HD 9" rear end could handle a substantial Airstream although the car was never set up to tow. Another pic on page #3.

It is ironic this Airstream ad from the 70's shows a stock Pacer with a bullet connected.
