Calling all Suburban owners. Mirror question

What do you folks use for tow mirrors? We've been out shopping for used Suburbans and none of them have tow mirrors on them.

At one point, I considered updating my Suburban with power telescoping trailering mirrors, but I have been so very happy with my McKesh towing mirrors that I couldn't justify the cost of the telescoping mirrors. I utilize the McKesh mirrors on all of my tow vehicles, and they can be adjusted to any trailer/tow vehicle combination. They are also like Zip Dee awnings in that the company supports their products with repair parts even when the unit is over 25 years old. You can find out more about McKesh Mirrors at this link.

From forum recommendation purchased the CIPA custom towing mirrors custom style-slides over existing mirror for my 1996 Suburban. Purchased from camping world approx $30 if i remember correctly. They are removable also.

I have the factory power-extending mirrors and while they don't stick out as far as the McKesh mirrors I find that they are sufficient, and very convenient.

On my 1997 Chevrolet pickup I have the plastic slip-on mirrors which work OK. They are available for Suburbans as well, which have the same factory mirrors as the trucks.

CIPA Custom fit mirrors. Great aerodynamics, easy to instal and they even look good. Major perk of them is that they allow the mirrors on my 2010 LTZ to fold in electronically.

You have the best TV... Suburban.
I have an older Suburban 1989 with SS mirrors you can rotate the mirror bracket 180^ horizontal, then flip the mirror to face the rear again, giving you wide stance views.
So simple and many don't know they will do this.

We have used McKesh mirrors for the last 10 years on our Suburban. They are great.

I second this one. bought some plastic slide over mirrors for my 1995 from JC Whitney....$25.
