Bike & kayak rack over TV bed

We are looking to put a rack on the bed of our 2016 Tundra Crewmax. Already have a tonneau cover that folds open in sections. The rack I want will be able to hold 2 bikes and one kayak and still allow the Bak Flip tonneau to open. A bonus would be for the bikes to mount on either side of the rack but not a deal breaker. We have a moonroof so we don't want that blocked by any part of the rack. Anybody done anything like this?

Interested in this too. I have a roll up cover that covers the usual locations to mount a rack. Would love to mount something to carry bike and kayaks when the cover is closed

Try Kargo Master.com
They have a full line of aluminum and steel truck racks.

Adarac is one of the few (only?) racks that can co-exist with a tonneau.

The Adarac looks good. Is there a way to mount our bikes on the sides where they'll be over the sides of the bed instead of on top? That would make it easier for us to load and unload them. Then the lesser used kayak go on top?

I’ve been using Style#2 with quick connects from from Oak Orchard Canoe.

Nice as it provides enough clearance for my trifold cover allowing me full access to the bed. I bought the uprights from them and use Yakima and accessories. bars.

What Yakima bars did you use?

From the Plains of Alabama. WDE!
I don’t think this is what you are looking for but works for us.
Also check out wulfrat’s decked system on the forum. He has the best system I think.

I have an F250 Crew Cab. I'm using one set of Yakima feet on cab and an upright from link on the bed. Both have 78" round bars from Yakima. The 78" bar on the bed just carries the distance (no overhang beyond bed rail).

I use Yakima Landshark saddles for a tandem kayak and/or two sets of Swiss Cargo 3 in 1 J hooks for 4 kayaks that are 10'. I always use bow and stern tie downs.

I don't carry the bikes on the rack. My bed rails taper from front to back (wide to narrow). The base plates of the uprights I ordered are too narrow to get close enough to cab bar for bikes. Be sure to order a larger base plate if your truck is similar and want to carry bikes up top.

I have been considering using my existing Thule racks and crossbars, and fabricating the longitudinal bars to mount in the stake pockets. At the right height my roll up tonneau cover still works.

What I have yet to find are stake pocket anchors for my shortbed 2015 2500HD, preferably with threaded anchors so I can just substitute a bolt to bolt plates to that have vertical bars to go up to the longer side bars.

Anyone with a known reasonably priced source for stake pocket anchors for Silverado?

One solution I am eyeing is from either Thule, Yakima, or Rough Racks. It starts with mounting a track along the top of the bed rails, and then adding feet and crossbars and your favorite bike rack. Here’s a link to some examples.
