Any color goes with an Airstream. Our TV is two-toned electric blue with silver on the bottom.

I think Silver would be nice. It looks good with an Airstream. But we opted for the Toreador Red in Our F 350 (purchased before the airstream) and we also have that color that changes colors with changes in light on our 94 F150. ANY COLOR GOES GOOD WITH AN AIRSTREAM

I'm inclined to prefer "brilliant silver metallic", "Oxford white", and "black" in that order. They also have a "white sand tri-coat metallic" which is the only one that costs extra ($500).

Thoughts? Monochromatic color palette? Or pop of color?

We have the white sands tricoat. Reminds me of pearls and beautiful silver jewelry. We get comments all the time on the rig.

Of course, since the AS is always silver, in reality, ANY colour will work with it. I'd say though that the pale colours will mean less need for AC, and I've always felt that they show the dirt less, but of course, I could be crazy.

I've seen a nice colour on the new Ford F150 though, that appeals to me, they call it "ice blue". It's a metallic colour, quite smart, and does "call" to the darker blue in the stripes of the AS.

For me personally, the last colour I would choose would be silver, since the AS is un-painted AL, and you won't find any silver vehicle that will match the trailer. My (limited) colour sense says to get something that gives somewhat of a contrast, and yet complements the TT.

... green is always an option

We liked green (before it became PC); it blended into the woods a bit and the lighter color stays cooler/cleaner.

Obviously, the Jolly Green Giant's smile indicates his approval!

Like Road Ruler said (sorta) pick a theme that works together: gold, silver & black. Had we kept the trailer the awnings would have been replaced with something on this order.

In no perticular order, I like Pewter, White, or a very light Silver/Grey.
Because most trips are in hotter weather, will never have black, or red, just the thought of those colors sitting in a hot sun, makes my blood boil.

I hear some 2020 models will be iridescent polka dots, that shine in the dark, for safety reasons of course.

I wound up with a black truck - just because that happened to be what they had on the lot and the price was right!

I do think it goes nicely with the silver of the Airstream though - course I am partial to the combination of black and chrome on motorcycles too!

Its a bit of a labour of love to keep it looking clean though -just bought oneof those carwash gadgets with a special ionizing filter that prevents water spotting. It works well.

I don't find heat in a black vehicle to be a problem - probably takes a bit more fuel with the AC cranked up a bit higher though!

I bought my tow vehicle way before ever considering getting a trailer and got it used. It just happened to be this color. But I must say they look good together and I'm thankful the vehicle has the towing package. It wasn't really something I looked for. I just liked the truck and it suits my SUV/Truck needs. Funny how things work out sometimes.

I like the charcoal--it matches the banana wrap! We have a Silver F250 too, but I like the ride of my Expedition!

I think Black looks nice because it doesnt take any emphasis off the main attraction, the trailer!

Blue because the last truck was red and it was time for a change. Too many silver and white vehicles to buy another. Black and brown look dirty too fast, but so does blue, but not as fast. Green—never.

Blue in different forests, different coasts, different elevations (just about sea level to 10,000'), different seasons—Florida, Colorado, Minnesota, Oregon
