My last two TVs have been an off silver. The Chevy was Pewter, my present GMC is Birch Metallic. Both are easy to clean, and in tend to blend and take on the color of their surroundings.
I do however also own a silver FJR, Silver trailers x2 and my hair is turning ... hey I see a pattern!

I like red, I have painted my last two hot rods red. The Burb was white when I picked it up. The plan is to finish the sheet metal replacement, strip and paint it two tone blue and white. The f-250 will remain dark green and washed often.

White picked us.
Hi, we picked White. We bought our Lincoln used; It was three years old, had only 16,800 miles on it, and the price was right. Before picking this one we looked at several others Gold, Champagne, and Light blue. Most offered were Black and we will never own a black vehicle again.
(1.) White is light and cool and lets the silver of the Airstream stand out.
(2.) Black is beautiful when clean and I will leave those for the young and energetic or the rich who can detail them [or have done for them] daily.
(3.) Red is for antiques, classics, and sports cars. [convertables]
Click to enlarge pictures. I don't have a good pictue of my green car at this time.
(4.) Green, well after serving my time in the Army, I was up to here with everything being green. Then I bought a green car?

About 20% of the vehicles in AZ are white.
Go figure.

Yes! Has that look about it, doesn't it.
This was a sheepherders (I guess) wagon that was on the road down to Echo Park (Dinosaur NM).
Looked well organized and quite livable (in an Airstream kind of way...)
Thanks for noticing.

We towed our Classic Ltd (with burgandy trim) with this toreador red and silver Ford F250. I also put the aluminum ladder rack (in the foreground) over the cap.

Since our trailer is obviously silver we find that red - particularly Ford's toreador red - is a nice match with an airstream. We're on our 2nd F-series truck in that color in the last 4 years.
Hunter green in a close second. White gets too dirty too fast. Black is too hot in the desert summer sun. I'm tired of silver (I've had at least 3 silver cars.)

I'm inclined to prefer "brilliant silver metallic", "Oxford white", and "black" in that order. They also have a "white sand tri-coat metallic" which is the only one that costs extra ($500).
Thoughts? Monochromatic color palette? Or pop of color?
