We have a '68 beetle with a sun roof. I'd only have to reach up through the top to hook or unhook. We built a teardrop from scratch. I wonder............................................ ......
i didn't see a hookup for the electrical. interesting.
Yeah, they didn't make note of the connection on film, but I think I see an ambilical cord draped on the roof of the car and coming into the passenger compartment at the driver's door.
Also look for a connection on the trailer under the front window at about the center. It is shown pretty clearly about the time the "gentleman" with the tie and white bucks is rounding the drivers front fender headed back to the car.
Ahh, how I pine for simpler times !
PEACE !

I wonder how many of these made it into production? Imagine the look on the face of the people with the monster 5'er when you pull in to the campsite next to them with one...
They could use them for Clown Camping at the circus...
I love it! What a hoot! I'm an old VW fan...my very first car was a bug and I've have had several...my last was a White Special Edition 79 V W Bug Convertible (with AC!)...the last year they were made... I drove it for years, then it sat for some more, then I finally restored it from the ground up...it was beautiful and turned heads wherever we drove it...eventually sold it to another VW fan so someone else could enjoy it for many more years to come. Here's a pic.
